A Plague Tale: Requiem gets October release date, showing 10 minutes of gameplay

| |

A Plague Tale: Requiem will be released on October 18 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, developer Asobo and publisher Focus Entertainment have announced.

A cloud-only version will also be available for Nintendo Switch, and as previously announced, the game will be released on Xbox Game Pass for Xbox, PC and cloud on day one.

Today also brings 10 minutes of newly revealed gameplay as siblings Amicia and Hugo return and happily use their tricks to remove all soldiers in sight. It’s a nice showcase of the game’s stealth combat, if nothing else, and yes – those rats are back.

Asobo has also confirmed that it is working on PC-specific graphics features with Nvidia RTX ray tracing and DLSS to boost performance.

The first game in the series, A Plague Tale: Innocence, was a brilliant surprise – with a dark and sometimes moving story and tense stealth sequences. It’s worth a game.
