Apple on Tuesday invited media to its March 8 event, which is expected to unveil the new MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac mini and iMac Pro, based on a mix of Apple M1 and M2 silicon. Alongside the new Mac machines, the Cupertino-based company is speculated to unveil the long-awaited iPhone SE 3, also known as iPhone SE+ 5G or 5G iPhone SE, as well as its new iPad Air at the virtual event. Notably, this will be the company’s first public event this year. Apple calls the event “Peek Performance” and indicates upgrades to its performance-oriented devices.
Apple Event March 8 Live Stream Details
The Apple event will take place on March 8th at 10:00am PST (11:30pm IST). It will be live streamed from Apple Park by the Company website and the Apple TV app. The event is also expected to be broadcast live Apple’s official YouTube channel. Although Apple has yet to confirm details, the invitation will carry the tagline “Peek Performance” along with a multicolored Apple logo to propose upgrades to its devices with performance improvements and new color options.

According to the latest predictions from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is unveiling its new Mac range based on a new M2, M1 Pro, M1 Max and the super powerful versions of the M1 Max. The new MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and Mac mini are expected to feature the M2 chip, while the new iMac Pro will come with the M1 Pro and M1 Max options, and a new Mac mini will come with an M1 Pro.
There is also speculation that this time the MacBook Air will have a major redesign that could be similar to what debuted on the MacBook Pro last year. This could bring a notch and thin bezels to the display. The new MacBook Air models may also have a new colorful design and mini-LED displays, according to some previous reports.
In addition to the MacBook Air, the Apple event may bring the iPhone SE 3, rumored to be the iPhone SE (2022), iPhone SE+ 5G or iPhone SE 5G. The new iPhone may have a similar design to the iPhone SE (2020), although it could include 5G support and an A15 Bionic SoC. There’s also rumored to be an upgraded rear camera. The iPhone SE 3 could be priced at $300 (roughly Rs. 22,700).
It is also speculated that the iPad Air will get an upgrade this time around, which would debut as the iPad Air (5th generation). Speculated to have the A15 Bionic SoC and 5G connectivity.
