Logitech Crayon’s listing on the company’s website has been updated to reflect support for Apple’s iPad Pro 11-inch (4th generation) and iPad Pro 12.9-inch (6th generation), a report has revealed. This suggests that the next-gen iPad Pro models could be coming soon. Apple is expected to host a launch event as early as October, where the Cupertino-based tech giant could unveil these two tablets. The iPad Pro 12.9 inch (6th generation) and the iPad Pro 11 inch (4th generation) could be powered by an M2 SoC.
according to a report by 9To5Mac, Apple could soon launch the next generation of iPad Pro models. The report highlights that the iPad Pro 11-inch (4th generation) and iPad Pro 12.9-inch (6th generation) have been detected among the supported devices list for the Logitech Crayon in the Logitech online shop. Later, the names of the two upcoming iPad Pro models were removed. Therefore, Gadgets 360 could not independently verify the listing.
This reportedly suggests that the next generation iPad Pro 12.9-inch and iPad Pro 11-inch could be unveiled by Apple soon. The Cupertino-based tech giant is expected to debut the iPad Pro 12-inch (6th generation) and iPad Pro 11-inch (4th generation) during a launch that the company could host later this October. Apple is also expected to unveil the new Mac models during the October event. Additionally, both tablets are expected to be powered by an Apple M2 SoC.
As a reminder, the iPad Pro 11-inch (3rd generation) and iPad Pro 12.9-inch (5th generation) were launched in April last year.
The 12.9-inch iPad Pro model features a Liquid Retina CDR Mini-LED display with a resolution of 2,732 x 2,048 pixels, while the iPad Pro 11-inch (3rd gen) features a Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 2,388 x 2,388 pixels 1,668 pixels. Both of Apple’s Pro model tablets are powered by an M1 SoC with Neural Engine and ISP. The tablets also offer support for the second-generation Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil.
