Activision has revealed what’s to come in the latest season of Call of Duty: Mobile, Wild Dogs, which will feature a “brand new way to play battle royale” via the new Sandstorm mode.
“There are no good guys, no bad guys, only nature is the enemy,” teases a press statement. “A sandstorm will appear randomly in wild areas of Battle Royale. Players who enter the sandstorm will be challenged to dodge hurricanes and tornadoes in order to reach the high tier loot and special items included in the weather event.”
Season 4 launches on April 28th at 1am UK time and also features two new maps – Cold War’s Satellite and Modern Warfare 2019’s Khandor Hideout – as well as new Operators, Weapons, Blueprints, Calling Cards, Talismans and COD Points as well as 50 new tiers of ” Battle Pass Rewards”.
There are also a few new modes, including Ground War, a large-scale infantry and vehicle combat multiplayer mode that will also be familiar to those of you who played Modern Warfare 2019. The other is a new tournament mode where you can “compete to earn the Epic DL Q33 – Red Sprite and Shadow Blade – Red Sprite”.
We can also expect a new themed event, Sandstorm’s Eye, which is described as “an unusual sandstorm”. [that] has appeared in the center of the desert, which has affected oil production on the map. Enemy forces use this storm to their advantage and capture key oil extraction points. You and other players on the map are fighting back in these key areas and will work together to mine oil in those locations and retake them from enemy forces.
Call of Duty Mobile Season 4: Wild Dogs can be played on both Android and iOS devices.
