GTA+ – announced on Friday – is a new subscription service for Grand Theft Auto Online only available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X. Those who pay the GTA+ monthly fee – $5.99 (roughly Rs. 460) per month – will receive in-game currency to spend on the evolving open-world game, along with exclusive traits, vehicle upgrades, Discounts for members only and other benefits. Rockstar Games has suggested that GTA+ members can also gain access to unlock older gameplay updates or previous limited-time content in-game.
In his Notice On Friday, Rockstar Games announced that the new GTA+ membership program will be available starting Tuesday, March 29th. Players must own a copy of GTA 5 or GTA Online to access GTA+.
Alongside this, Rockstar Games revealed the benefits for the first month of GTA+ membership, which will run from March 29th to April 27th.
Starting Tuesday, GTA+ members will receive GTA$500,000 (in-game currency) in their Maze Bank account every month and a 3x boost to GTA$ and RP from Haos Special Works Race Series. Subscribers do not have to pay the LS Car Meet membership fee, and players who have already paid will receive a GTA$50,000 refund, according to Rockstar Games. GTA+ members can also purchase members-only Shark Cards with additional bonus in-game cash, available through the Xbox Store and PlayStation Store.
GTA+ subscribed players will also receive a free Hao’s Special Works upgrade before the general public can purchase it, along with HSW Orange Trip and HSW CMYK Glitch Liveries. In the meantime, auto shop owners with a GTA+ subscription can relocate to La Mesa at no additional cost – with a selection of updates from Los Santos Tuners.
Cosmetics like the Gussét Frog Tee and Broker Prolapse Basketball Top and Shorts will be automatically added to players’ wardrobes once they subscribe to GTA+. The Conveyor livery for the Mammoth Avenger, HVY APC, and TM-02 Khanjali will also be available starting Tuesday. GTA+ also offers subscribers a selection of free Auto Shop paints and decals. In the meantime, yacht owners with a GTA+ subscription can upgrade to the Aquarius Super Yacht for free.
The GTA Online subscription also brings exclusive rewards – similar to those mentioned above – for the open-world game every month. Players can visit Legendary Motorsport, Hao’s Special Works, Maze Bank Foreclosures and DockTease in the GTA Online web browser. However, each of these benefits has an expiration date, so players must claim them before the next rewards arrive. Think of it as free games offered under PlayStation Plus. Players who choose not to subscribe will still have access to the publisher’s regular GTA Online events.
GTA+ will be available on Tuesday, March 29th for PS5, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.
