Launch of the Poco X4 Pro 5G India is set to take place on April 10th with a tip of getting a 64MP camera

The launch date of the Poco X4 Pro 5G India has been teased by the Xiaomi sub-brand. The upcoming smartphone will be launched in the country next month. The Poco X4 Pro 5G was presented worldwide at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022 at the end of February. According to a tipster, the Indian version of the Poco X4 Pro 5G will get a 64-megapixel primary sensor. The global version of the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM.

Poco X4 Pro 5G is set to launch in India on April 10, according to a tweet from Poco. The tweet mentions, “The X has a date! Let us know if you can find it.” Roman numerals “X” and “IV” are clearly visible in the split image, pointing to April 10th and 4th or April 10th.

It should be noted that the company has not confirmed the date. A user (@techstarsrk) responded to the tweet, hinting that April 10th was indeed the launch date for Poco X4 Pro 5G in India, but the company chose to neither confirm nor deny the date.

Poco X4 Pro 5G price (expected)

The Poco X4 Pro 5G costs EUR 229 (approx. Rs. 19,200) for the base variant with 6 GB + 128 GB of storage. The storage model with 8 GB + 256 GB costs 349 euros (approx. Rs. 29,300). Expect the Indian variant to be priced similarly, although the company hasn’t confirmed anything. Poco offers the smartphone in Laser Black, Laser Blue, and Poco Yellow color options.

Poco X4 Pro 5G Specifications (expected)

According to a tipster, Poco X4 Pro 5G will get a 64-megapixel primary sensor instead of a 108-megapixel primary camera offered in the global version. Other sensors are said to include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. It remains to be seen if other specifications in the Indian version match the global version.

The Poco X4 Pro presented during the MWC 2022 runs with Android 11 and MIUI 13 out-of-the-box. It features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) AMOLED display with 1200 nits of peak brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, it’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC powered, paired with 8GB of RAM. It has up to 256GB of RAM which can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 1TB). The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
