Just 5 years ago the world had 5 million social media creators. Today that number is over 50 million. With this increase comes the need to train and empower developers to adapt to changing technologies and be equipped with skills to be successful. That’s where Nas Academy comes in, an online education platform for the creator economy that empowers creators through technology.

Today, Nas Academy announced it has partnered with Invisible College to launch the world’s first course pack unlockable with an NFT collection. As part of the launch, more than $2,000 worth of courses will initially be made available, covering topics such as NFT investing, community building, video editing and crypto fundamentals.

Beginning September 1st, Invisible College members who are Decentralien NFT holders can unlock more than 18 Web3 and Creator courses on Nas Academy for free. The growing library features courses from some of the world’s best developers and investors, including Zeneca, Nuseir Yassin and Ben Yu.

Nuseir Yassin, CEO of Nas Academy, commented on the launch: “Web3 is more than just a compelling topic for courses. We believe NFTs can reinvent the way students use online education and enable people to own a piece of the internet. That’s why we wanted to partner with a visionary community in the form of Invisible College. We look forward to building together to help educate and bring the next wave of users to web3.”

Hailed as the new internet standard for content ownership, privacy, and data control, web3 brings with it a steep learning curve for non-crypto natives. This catalog of courses will empower students to build, influence and invest in the future of the Internet.

Decentraliens are a collection of otherworldly characters represented as NFTs on the Solana Network. Each of the ten thousand Aliens with Profile Pictures (PFP) has a unique set of algorithmically generated characteristics and serves as a ticket to the Nas Academy course package.

Invisible College will also be working with Nas Academy to onboard leading Web3 educators to teach courses on the platform with the goal of becoming the largest Web3 learning library on the web.

“There’s been a lot of discussion about Web3 use cases lately,” said Nick deWilde, co-founder of Invisible College. “The way we see it, combining a catalog of quality courses with a collection of NFTs is a fundamentally new way to empower students to take control of their education. And we couldn’t have done it without Web3 technology.

We also needed a forward-thinking partner who was willing to innovate with us. Luckily, the Nas Academy team are just the kind of crazy dreamers who could help us expand our vision and make it a reality.

Finally, we would like to thank all the creators who have joined this historic collaboration. They’ve produced some incredible courses that we’re excited to share with a brand new audience.”

Founded in 2019, Nas Academy is a technology platform that enables developers to build communities through education. It offers top-notch learning experiences for established and aspiring developers, helping them master the tools and tricks to be successful. Nas means “people” in Arabic and Nas Academy’s mission is to bring people together on the internet.

Nas Academy believes that content creators are the best undiscovered teachers in the world because they know how to engage new audiences and communicate with them in understandable ways. The Nas platform hosts educational resources and allows developers to learn at their own pace, hone their skills and increase their earning potential.

Invisible College is a school focused on helping people learn, invest and build web3. Members are given the unique opportunity to become owners of their education by accessing the school through the Decentralien NFT collection. Invisible College offers its students in-depth courses, weekly events and ongoing support via a private Discord server.
