OnePlus Pad has popped up online once again. A well-known tipster has hinted that OnePlus’ upcoming tablet is now in production in various regions around the world. OnePlus Pad has also been dubbed the mid-range offering from the Chinese tech giant. According to previous reports, the OnePlus Pad is set to launch in the first half of 2022. It is also said to boot Android 12L out-of-the-box. OnePlus was also advised to launch a Nord-branded smartwatch soon.
Tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) tweeted that OnePlus Pad has gone into serial production in several Eurasian and European regions. According to Sharma, the launch of the upcoming OnePlus tablet now seems imminent. This confirms a report suggesting that OnePlus Pad will be launched in the first half of 2022.
React to another user on Twitter, Sharma mentioned that OnePlus Pad will be a mid-range tablet instead of a flagship device.
Earlier this year, OnePlus Pad was advised to run Android 12L out-of-the-box. Android 12L is designed to support large screen devices. This marks the first time since the launch of the tablet-focused Android Honeycomb in 2012 that Google has focused on optimizing its Android apps for larger displays.
OnePlus was also advised to launch a budget-oriented smartwatch in India. The upcoming wearable is to appear as a smartwatch from the OnePlus Nord brand. The report suggests the smartwatch could be priced under Rs. 10,000 and can most likely be placed between Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 8,000. The smartwatch is said to compete with Amazfit, Realme, Xiaomi and others.
The Nord brand OnePlus smartwatch is said to have a color touchscreen. Additionally, this affordable wearable will reportedly be packed with features like a heart rate monitor, SpO2 monitor, sleep tracking, step counting, smartphone notifications, music control, and more.
