Oppo F21 Pro, Oppo F21 Pro 5G With Triple Rear Cameras Launched In India; Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro debut as well

Oppo F21 Pro and Oppo F21 Pro 5G were launched in India on Tuesday (April 12). Both phones come with triple rear cameras and come with 8GB of RAM. They also include an Orbit Light on the back that acts as a notification light. On the other hand, the Oppo F21 Pro features a 90Hz display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, while the Oppo F21 Pro 5G features a 60Hz screen and a Snapdragon 695 chip. Alongside the Oppo F21 Pro and Oppo F21 Pro 5G, the Chinese company introduced the Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro as its latest True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earphones.

The price of the Oppo F21 Pro in India has been set at Rs. 22,999 for the 8GB + 128GB storage variant. The phone is available in Cosmic Black and Sunset Orange colors – with the latter sporting a fiberglass leather design on the back that features grain at the top. In contrast, the Oppo F21 Pro 5G is priced at Rs. 26,999 in India for the same 8GB + 128GB configuration. The 5G model is available in Cosmic Black and Rainbow Spectrum shades.

The Oppo F21 Pro will go on sale from April 15th, while the Oppo F21 Pro 5G will hit shelves from April 21st.

Introductory offers for the Oppo F21 Pro and F21 Pro 5G include 10 percent bank cashback and free EMI options.

The Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro is priced at Rs. 3,499. Details on earbud availability will be announced at a later date.

Oppo F21 Pro specifications

The Oppo F21 Pro runs on Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1 on top. It sports a 6.4-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 180 Hz. Under the hood, the phone packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC with eight cores and 8 GB RAM. There’s the triple rear camera setup, which houses a 64-megapixel primary sensor paired with a 2-megapixel micro shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. An Orbit Light also surrounds the micro shooter, acting as both a notification indicator and a fill light for low-light shots. In addition, the reversing camera has an LED flashlight.

For selfies and video chats, the Oppo F21 Pro is equipped with a 32 megapixel Sony IMX709 camera sensor on the front.

The Oppo F21 Pro has 128GB of onboard storage. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS-AGPS and a USB Type-C port. The phone also supports artificial intelligence (AI) gesture controls and includes a feature called Smart Notification Hiding, which uses the selfie camera along with a detection algorithm to hide content if the phone detects someone else is looking at the screen when a new message appears, the company announced.

Oppo has equipped the F21 Pro with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. The phone has a thickness of 7.49mm for the Cosmic Black color option or 7.54mm for the Sunset Orange tint. It weighs 175 grams.

Oppo F21 Pro 5G specifications

Running on Android with ColorOS 12 on top, the Oppo F21 Pro 5G features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC and powered by 8GB of RAM. It has a triple rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. The 5G phone sports Dual Orbit Lights on the back.

To take selfies and enable video chats, the Oppo F21 Pro 5G offers a 16-megapixel sensor on the front.

The Oppo F21 Pro 5G has 128GB of internal storage. It includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and a USB Type-C port on the connectivity front. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Oppo has equipped the F21 Pro 5G with a battery that has the same 4,500mAh capacity as the regular F21 Pro, along with 33W SuperVOOC charging. The phone is 7.49mm (Cosmic Black) or 7.5mm (Rainbow Spectrum) thick and weighs 173 grams.

Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro specifications

The Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro comes with 12.4mm dynamic drivers that offer a frequency response between 20Hz and 20kHz. The earbuds are equipped with dual microphones to enable artificial intelligence (AI) based noise cancellation support. Similar to other TWS earbuds, the Enco Air 2 Pro has touch controls. There is also Bluetooth v5.2 support.

Each Enco Air 2 Pro earbud packs a 43mAh battery rated for up to seven hours of playback on a single charge. The earbuds are also paired with the charging case, which houses a 440mAh battery that’s said to deliver up to 28 hours of total usage.

Oppo has offered IP54 dust and water resistance ratings for the Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro’s case. There’s also a USB Type-C port for charging.

Specially for users with Oppo ColorOS 11.0+ phones, the Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro offers Quick Pairing support, so the earbuds can be paired by placing their case close to the phone. The earbuds also have an instant connection feature to quickly connect to the paired phone once the charging case is opened. In addition, the earbuds have automatic sleep support to reduce idle power consumption.

The Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro weighs a total of 42.8 grams with the charging case. However, each earphone weighs 4.3 grams.
