Pokmon Go plans unprecedented downtime •

Pokémon Go will take its servers offline and won’t be playable for seven hours on Monday, June 1st. It is going to be like 2016 once more!

It is an unprecedented failure of the sport that hasn’t purposely gone offline since its early revision of the sport’s gyms.

Right here within the UK the timing is between 7pm and 2am on Tuesday. Within the US, which means that the sport is canceled for a lot of the day (11 a.m. to six p.m. Pacifc).

Developer Niantic has not publicly said what it’s as much as aside from “server upkeep”, but it surely does appear to be the sport’s database is transferring to new servers – one thing it can’t do whereas the sport is on-line.

Elsewhere in Pokémon Go, at this time brings the ultimate week of the sport
