Redmi Pad Prices Announced; Color, pre-launch storage options flipped: report

The Redmi Pad is expected to be unveiled by the Chinese company in October along with the Xiaomi 12T series. A new report has again hinted at the arrival of the Redmi Pad in October. It also mentions possible color and storage variants of this upcoming tablet. Additionally, the price and design of the new tablet were reportedly announced via a now-deleted post from Xiaomi Kuwait’s Instagram account. The report states that the Redmi Pad will come in Mint Green color with a flat-edged design.

According to a MySmartPrice reportXiaomi Kuwait’s Instagram account briefly divided a post teasing the launch of the Redmi Pad. However, the post has since been deleted. This Xiaomi sub-brand tablet is said to cost 71.9 KWD (about 18,500 rupees).

The alleged post also revealed that the tablet will be available in Mint Green color. The Redmi Pad could reportedly feature a rectangular camera module in the top-left corner and come with a flat-edge design.

In related news another report claims that the Redmi Pad will be launched in India sometime before Diwali in October. Additionally, it is mentioned that tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz) launched this tablet in Graphite Gray, Mint Green, and Moonlight Silver colors.

The Redmi Pad could offer two configuration options – 3GB RAM + 64GB onboard storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB onboard storage.

A recent report had also suggested the arrival of the Redmi Pad in October alongside the Xiaomi 12GT series. It was mentioned that the tablet could come with an 8-megapixel rear camera. The report also included an alleged image of the Redmi Pad in a dark gray color variant.

The Redmi Pad was previously spotted on the China Compulsory Certification (3C) certification site. It could pack a 7,800mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging. Under the hood, this tablet can be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. It will likely have an 11.2-inch IPS display.
