The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine is now in its seventh week, nobody knows when the war will end. So far, individuals and companies around the world have offered help and support to the people of Ukraine while the Ukrainian military tries to repel invading Russian forces.
Late last month we wrote about HomesforUkrainians, a website set up by a non-profit organization to match host families in the UK with Ukrainian refugees. The site was created by a small group of tech entrepreneurs with significant experience launching corporate websites, including Jaguar Land Rover and Honda. HomesforUkrainians is one of the many sites that help support the Ukrainian people.
SpendWithUkraine is another initiative recently launched by the Petcube team to support Ukrainian made wartime products and services. In an email to TechStartups, PetCube’s Sofia Chervynska describes the initiative as follows:
“Ukraine is home to many great products. Budding entrepreneurship, a strong engineering culture and an authentic design sensibility bring our companies to the global stage. The war that Russia has been waging against peaceful people cannot distract us from our ambition to create and drive positive change. Product teams in Ukraine continue to work while being shot at, pushed out and pressured.”
O0 Design has compiled a shortlist of Ukrainian companies that sell worldwide. From tech unicorns to craft tokens, they create value and support the economy. Obtaining their products and services directly supports Ukraine and moves closer to our victory over darkness.
