Based in Melbourne, Australia, League of Geeks rose to fame with Armello – the studio’s debut release, which recreated a tabletop strategy game in video game form.

Now, the studio’s goal is to bring Solium Infernum up to date while maintaining its unique gameplay – allowing all participants to take turns simultaneously and only witness their enemies’ plans unfold according to their own choices.

The goal of the game is to claim the Infernal Throne of Hell by employing deep systems of political intrigue, military strategy, betrayal and betrayal. Players choose one of eight archfiends at the start of a game and must master the five realms of evil and claim artifacts as evil boons.

Games can be two- to four-hour single-player games or week-long multiplayer matches for six players with just a few minutes of gameplay per day.

“The original Solium Infernum is one of the most remarkable video games ever made. Its striking, Milton-inspired vision of Hell and strong focus on political intrigue is unlike anything else on the market,” said Trent Kusters, co-founder and director of League of Geeks.

“We are honored and excited to give Solium Infernum the spotlight it always deserves!”
