The launch date of Vivo X Fold has been set for April 11 in China, Vivo announced via a post on Weibo. The Chinese company also shared a teaser image and short clip of its first foldable phone. Alongside the foldable phone, Vivo has also unveiled the design and color options of the Vivo Pad in a series of images. While Vivo has yet to confirm this, previous reports suggest that Vivo Pad and Vivo X Note will also debut alongside Vivo X Fold.
According to a post Office On Weibo, Vivo X Fold will come with a “foldable screen 2.0”. The video in the post also suggests that Vivo’s first foldable phone will get a curved outer display. According to a report, the phone could feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED primary display and an 8-inch foldable AMOLED panel. It is speculated that it will have quad rear cameras and a 4,600mAh battery.

Meanwhile in another post Office Shared on Weibo over the weekend, Vivo teased the Vivo Pad’s design and color options via a series of images. According to Post, the tablet will be offered in Deep Space Gray and Sky Blue colors and will have an “all-metal design.” The “thin and light” device is designed for use in “office, [for] Entertainment and Online Courses”. The images also show that the tablet can be connected to a keyboard and has stylus support.
In another Vivo X Fold and Vivo Pad-related development, the configurations of these two devices have been flipped. A post Office on Weibo says the Vivo X Fold foldable smartphone could come with 12GB RAM alongside 256GB or 512GB storage options. It’s tipped to launch in blue and orange colors. Vivo Pad could launch with 8GB RAM alongside 128GB/256GB storage options in Blue and Gray color options.
There is also mention of a Vivo X Note smartphone that is said to come with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB or 512GB storage in black, blue, gray and orange color options. The Weibo post also mentions that the Vivo X Fold and Vivo X Note orange color options may be introduced at a later date.
