Xbox Game Pass will bring eight new titles in the second half of November, including four day-one releases. The kicker is definitely Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, where you delve into the unforgiving beehive city of Tertium and fire bullets at bloodthirsty enemies trying to take control of the planet Atoma Prime. The game launches on November 30th on PC. A week before that, subscribers are treated to Gungrave GORE, a stylish third-person shooter that adds martial arts into the mix and allows for seamless action as you unleash combos. It will be released on November 22nd on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Based on Frank Herbert’s seminal Dune universe, Dune: Spice Wars comes to PC Game Pass on November 17th, where you lead a faction and fight for control of the harsh desert planet of Arrakis. Keep in mind that the game is still in Early Access, so some technical issues may leak out. Ghostlore is another such “Game Preview” title that puts you in an ARPG battle arena and fights against monsters derived from Southeast Asian folklore. Inspired by timeless classics like Diablo 2 and Titan Quest, it features a detailed item customization system and procedurally generated maps.
If FPS shooters are your thing, head to Insurgency: Sandstorm on November 29th via cloud and console as you fight in intense co-op and PvP multiplayer modes in war-torn regions. But before that, don’t miss the opportunity to play as the bunny in Lapin, a 2D platformer where you hop around and explore modern civilization after rampant construction has forced you out of your burrows. Lapin is releasing on November 17th on PC, Xbox Cloud Gaming, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X.
Following on from last month’s Football Manager 2023, Soccer Story is a new physics-driven adventure RPG “where every problem can be solved with your trusty magic ball.” In a world that The Beautiful Game has forgotten, players must solve puzzles, form impressive teams and unravel mysteries to save the sport. Soccer Story will be released on November 29th on cloud, console and PC. Then there’s Norco, a point-and-click adventure in which you explore a dystopian, increasingly surreal southern Louisiana in hopes of tracking down your missing brother. Norco launches on November 17th. The game is already available on PC and is now heading to the cloud and console.
Here’s a list of all the new games coming to Xbox Game Pass starting November 17:
Dune: Spice Wars-PC
Spirit Lore — PC
Lapin – PC, cloud and console
Norco – Cloud and Console
Gungrave GORE – PC, Cloud and Console
Insurgency: Sandstorm – Cloud and Console
Soccer Story – PC, Cloud and Console
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide – PC
And as usual, Microsoft has confirmed that some titles will be leaving Game Pass. On November 30th you can say goodbye to Archvale, Deeeer Simulator, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Mind Scanners, Mortal Shell, Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator, Undungeon and Warhammer 40,000 Battlesector. Of course, before they disappear from service, you can buy them with a 20 percent discount.
