Xiaomi seems to be working on launching a new compact laptop that will reportedly be called the Xiaomi Book S 12.4. It recently appeared on the Geekbench and Bluetooth SIG certification pages. These alleged listings have revealed some key specs of this rumored notebook. In addition, Xiaomi was tipped to have already started testing the Xiaomi Book S internally in various Asian countries. The company has yet to officially unveil this notebook, an announcement seems imminent as these listings and rumors keep popping up.

The Geekbench listing has emerged with notable results. The Xiaomi Book S (12.4-inch) has a single-core score of 758 points and a multi-core score of 3,014 points. The tested system ran on the 64-bit operating system Microsoft Windows 11 Home. As per the listing, this notebook would pack a Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 processor with a base clock frequency of 3.0GHz. It is also said to house 8GB of RAM. The Bluetooth SIG certification does not provide any additional information, only implying that this notebook would support Bluetooth v5.1. These listings indicate that the launch of the Xiaomi Book S 12.4-inch laptop is expected soon.

Recently reliable tipster Mukul Sharma divided some more information about this rumored notebook. According to the leak, the Xiaomi Book S (12.4-inch) is currently undergoing internal testing in several Asian countries, indicating an imminent launch.

Xiaomi recently presented the RedmiBook Pro 15 (2022) in China. The laptop has a 15.6-inch IPS display with a resolution of 3,200 x 2,000 pixels. The Chinese tech giant offers processor options between the 12th Gen Intel Core i7 and the 12th Gen Intel Core i5. Two of its top-end variants come with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 graphics card. The base model offers integrated Intel UHD graphics with a 12th generation Intel Core i5 processor.
